After working on it for a few weeks now — endlessly tweaking, correcting, and reformatting — I’m finally happy with my new custom GURPS GM screen, and offer it up here for download (note that this is Version 2 — the first version incorrectly listed Deceptive Attack as a valid option with the Move and Attack maneuver and has been fixed):
Color Coded GM Screen (v. 2) | Downloads: 4,956 | Size: 1.4 MB
The font is a solid 12-point, the colored section titles make it easier to use than my previous screens, and it is packed chock full of eight pages of GURPSin’ goodness. If you’re looking for a customizable GM screen to put these inserts in (and don’t want to make your own), I always recommend the sturdy, long-lasting ‘World’s Greatest Screen‘ from Hammerdog Games (the portrait screen, for these pages).
Almost everything on the screen has already shown up in various other fan-created handouts on the SJG forums, but some of it hasn’t. For those items, I had what I thought was a pretty good idea — instead of redacting those sections as I have in the past, I spent an extra couple of hours to make them form-fillable in the PDF. This way, you can take a few minutes yourself to enter the info manually (page references are included so you know where to look).
The pages break down as follows:
There are a few caveats to keep in mind. Because this is a personal screen for me and my games, there are some differences from the GURPS Basic Set:
Please let me know if you have any suggestions, or notice any errors or things that are unclear in the text. Naturally, you’ll still need the GURPS Basic Set to get the most out of this, but once you’ve internalized the rules enough, these pages should be enough to keep you chugging along at the table without having to break open too many books.

My continued apologies for the slowdown in Game Geekery posting frequency! I’m still dealing with some medical issues, although slowly — ever so slowly — recovering, and just have not had the energy (or, some days, the time) to get much writing done. Things are gradually falling into place, though, and I’m hoping to get back on a weekly schedule as soon as I can. Thank you all for your patience and support!
