A Colonial Marines One-Shot, Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamingballistic.com\/category\/features-on-gb\/gurpsday\/\">GURPSDay<\/a><\/em>, Colonial Marines!<\/p>\n<p>Ya gotta love it when &#8220;doing research for a game&#8221; means watching &#8220;Aliens,&#8221; and then watching it again for the audio commentary.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themook.net\/gamegeekery\/rescue-or-bug-hunt-part-1\/\">preparations for Gamex 2017<\/a> seem to be chugging along on-track, and I should be ready to go just in time. I&#8217;m really pleased with how this adventure is turning out, and can&#8217;t wait to get it to table to see how it plays.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have final versions yet of the GM notes and full\u00a0player packets, but I do have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themook.net\/gamegeekery\/?ddownload=4002\" title=\"just the bare-bones character sheets.\" rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"ddownload-link id-4002 ext-pdf\">just the bare-bones character sheets.<\/a> These are the four PCs (I&#8217;ll try to make a couple of backups if there&#8217;s time):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Castellano<\/strong>, rifleman and corpsman<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rogers<\/strong>, rifleman and tech\/repair<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bennett<\/strong>, smart gunner<\/li>\n<li><strong>Garcia<\/strong>, sniper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As they&#8217;ve all gone through the same training and are all front-line infantry, the skill lists are very similar in terms of what skills are there (though there are minor differences), but CP allocation varies depending on their specialty.
