Post Question About The Mod
Ok. I love this mod. But I just have one problem. Whenever I move the camera. It stays there. Thats the best way I know how to explain this. Can anyone help me turn this off?

Post Re: Question About The Mod
Hiya horror999, welcome to the boards! :D

I can't get in-game at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that's a Blizzard default setting, not an AddOn. Have a look under "ESC --> Interface Options" for something like 'Camera Follow' or 'Smart Camera', or something similar.

Please let me know if you don't find the setting, next time I'm playing I'll see if I can ferret it out.

Thanks : ) But I couldn't find anything that changed it in the interface options.

Okay, I'm in-game now, think I've got it. :approval:

1) Go to "Esc --> Interface", make sure 'Camera Following Style' is set to 'Smart' or 'Always'.

2) Click "Okay", then press the "END" key on your computer.

Hopefully that'll fix ya up, sorry for the hassle.

Really? Weird!

Okay, I've got only two more suggestions, hopefully one of them will do the trick:

1) Check your keybindings under the 'Camera' section and find the keys for 'Next View' and 'Previous View' - then, back in-game, press 'em a couple times. (Still making sure that 'Camera Following Style' is set to 'Always')

2) Under your WoW installation folder (while the game is NOT running), find the 'camera-settings.txt' file for your character and delete it (don't worry, WoW will automatically create a new one next time you start; alternately, you can just rename it to something else). This should reset *all* your camera settings to default, sort of a "nuke the site from orbit" approach.

Please let me know if that still doesn't help and I'll keep looking, but this has really got me stumped - no one else has mentioned this happening anywhere.

Mook-
Just an FYI I did have a very similar problem to this one. Mine would always "snap" back though when I wanted it to stay (exactly the opposite problem).

It several ../reloadui's but it just quit doing it, not sure why.

I'm having serious heat issues though with my box and just assume that its effecting everything...

So weird! But I can't recreate the problem in my own game, that makes it so hard to troubelshoot and figure out.

Hooray!!! That's awesome.

I'm glad that got things sorted out - sorry for the hassle, I'll try to remember to add a section about the camera to the FAQ/ReadMe.

I know this one! lol :approval:

This is the AddOn 'Automaton' - type "/rock" to open the AddOn config menu, choose 'Automaton', and look for the module named 'Loner' to disable. 8)

Hiya Horror -

I'm pretty sure between the options in SimpleMiniMap (right-click on the minimap to access) and Beyi's Extended Quest Log (click the small "O" button for options on the open quest log) you should be able to take care of all those.

Pretty sure those would be "/ebb" (Elk Buff Bars 2) or maybe "/ebb2" for options (including locking/unlocking).

Hey anytime - I know all too well how irritating it is to have so many AddOns and be thinking to yourself "How the hell do I move that thing!"

Hiya Horror -

If you're meaning the two bars (health and mana/power/rage) in the lower center, below the target and above the action bar, that's PitBull unit frames (the Player frame).

Open the PitBull options with "/pitbull", and under the 'General' section I believe there's a check box for "Lock" ... uncheck that and you should be able to drag the bars anywhere you want 'em. :devilhorns:

Nope, that's 'ZMob' - I think the command is actually "/zmob" to get the options, or just delete the folder entirely if you don't want any (I have it set to put a portrait of my target over the minimap when I have something targeted).
