I’ve never quite figured out what people mean when they say “Sure it’s hot, but it’s a dry heat.” I mean, your oven is a dry heat too, but you wouldn’t want to live in it!

Yes, I am comparing Arizona to living in an oven, and I’ve been here less than a day.

We Have Clearance, Clarence!

Well, it’s finally go-time! My sister and I will officially be out of the house/apartment we’re currently in by September 1st, just a couple weeks away. Reservations have been made, deadlines have been established, changes of address have been completed.

I am composing this in a hurry - I had thought the cable would hold out until we were gone, but when I rolled out of bed this morning I noticed that all of the television channels are blocked and say ‘Access Not Authorized’, so I fear it’s just a matter of time before they realize they cancelled the tv but not the internet access. Depending on a number of things, I may be offline for as long as a few months, so if it seems like I suddenly disappear off the face of the virtual world, you’ll know why.
